The cafe was disappointing. The food felt overpriced for what we got, and there really weren’t many options to choose from. The kids were still hungry afterward, which made it even more frustrating. The whole experience felt a bit impersonal, like we were just another ticket number being moved along.

I was really impressed with how clean everything was. The bathrooms were spotless, and the exhibits were clearly well maintained. It’s always nice to visit a place that feels cared for, and they definitely seem to be doing a great job

Took my kids here on a rainy Saturday and it was such a good call. They had a total blast running around, touching stuff, trying things out, and just staying busy. The staff were super nice too, which always makes things easier when you’ve got little ones with you. It felt relaxed and not stressful at all. We’ll defintely be coming back.

The membership has some nice perks, especially if you’re going with family... but the renewal felt a bit expensive for what we used.

We took the kids hoping they’d come away with a little more science knowledge, but it mostly felt like they were pressing buttons, checking things out for a minute, and then moving on.

Some of the displays were fun, and there were a few moments where the kids were genuinely into it. But a couple of exhibits either didn’t explain the concept very clearly or weren’t working, so they lost interest faster than I thought they would.

It’s not a bad place for a short visit, especially if you just want something casual to do. I just felt like, for the price, there could’ve been more clear information and hands-on learning built into the experience.

It was a busy day, so I expected long waits, but the lines actually moved really fast. Everything felt organized and easy to get through. I’d definitely come back again, even on a crowded day

I went to one of their special events with my kids, and overall we had a really good time. The activities kept them busy, everything was easy enough to find, and most of the staff seemed nice. That said, there were a couple moments where I had questions and felt kind of dismissed, like they were too busy to really listen. Still, the kids had fun and I’d probably go again

I might just not have gotten the hang of it, but I found the menus kind of confusing with my screen reader. Some of the text was also a little hard to read, so overall it wasn’t the easiest experience for me.

I was expecting more hands-on things to actually do, but it didn’t really feel that interactive. Like, it’s there, but it’s basic and not much happens, so it ended up being kind of disappointing.

For the ticket price, it was a good deal. There was plenty to do inside, and my kids stayed busy for hours, which was great. Some areas did get really crowded, and there were a few times where it felt like staff weren’t really paying attention or we were being ignored when we had questions. Still, we ended up having a really good time overall and would probably go again

We walked into the Connecticut Science Center and right away I was like, wow, these people are genuinely nice. The staff were helpful from the start and never made us feel rushed or awkward for asking questions, which I really appreciated.

Someone pointed us toward the best area for my kids’ ages, and another staff member explained one of the exhibits in a way that actually made sense. It just made the whole visit feel easier and way less stressful.

I wasn’t expecting much, but parking was painless. Found a spot way quicker than I thought I would, so I guess that was a win
